SFI Outreach and Purposes
Over the years the SFI network associates has spearheaded and facilitated (to varying degrees of observable success) the starting of fellowships, orphanages, schools (on a national scale), a myriad of ‘business as ministry’ enterprises. We have worked diligently to supply laborers, various forms of practical expertise, training (both biblical and practical) or ‘startup’ financial assistance to these types of works over the years in a number of countries and cultures. When all is said and done it is by his grace alone that we have born fruit and all praise, honor and glory goes to the Lord.
We have not endeavored to pioneer any specific ‘style’ of church or ministry, nor are we denomination specific. Each project, work or ministry is unique and different based on a wide variety of factors. Over the years we have learned much and have garnered a little wisdom. We have been able to identify some basic fundamentals that need to be in place before we prayerfully commit any significant resources, to any given project. We have also learned to be patient and not in a hurry. Though buildings can be built quickly on the sand, relationships, more often then not, take time and purposeful effort to ‘dig deep’ and lay a good foundation on the rock, Christ, that can then sustain the house that the Lord builds upon it (Psalm 127) when the inevitable storms come. Though the specific methods and board of directors of SFI has changed and adapted over the years, its primary goals, functions and core (“care”) values have not. Our experiences over time have led to the crafting the present purpose statement,
